-My Massage Prayer-

I pray over each client that walks through those doors, that they receive the help they have been searching for. Whether their mind is filled with cares and worry or their physical body feels ached and buried. There’s more to life than the stress and rush, remember to rest and the importance of a therapists touch. So take a deep breath and just relax, focus on the now not the future or the past. Our goal today is for relief, aid and comfort. An hour of massage can lead to a better life outlook.

MASSAGE THERAPY

Complimentary Therapeutic and/or Deep Tissue Massage available. Contact today for an appointment.

Also available is our Ashiatsu Massage:
Ashiatsu in Japanese means “Ashi” (foot) and “Atsu” (pressure). Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. The pressure can be as light as a relaxing Swedish massage or the deepest massage a therapist can give. Parallel bars are used above the massage table for balance, support and client safety. The therapist uses body weight, movement and gravity to apply pressure directed through their bare feet. The massage is performed using the entire sole of the foot including the heel and outer edge of the foot, instep, ball of foot and toes. The feet are larger than the hands making the surface space of the area being massaged doubled and can the foot can bare more weight than the hands relieving stress and making the work easier to deliver from the massage therapist to the client. The combination of gravitational force and the therapists pressure and flow creates change in the body’s soft tissue, affording deep relaxation and muscle tension relief.

Float Tank

A Float Tank, also known as a sensory deprivation tank, is meant to be experienced in complete darkness and silence and be cut off from all gravity. One hour of floating is equal to 4 hours of restorative sleep. It reduces cortisol levels back to a productive and normal state. The Float Tank is filled with tons of epsom salt which is a great muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory mineral that also aids in the detoxification of the body. Floating also speeds recovery time after any type of injury while improving the ability to bounce back. It’s an environment where “training of the mind” becomes effortless and takes you into the “theta state” which allows the most creative part of our brain to engage. Floating on a regular basis can also help by balancing a stressed out immune system and so much more!  Visit our Float Tank at our location in Southington CT!

This will also help reduce the appearance of large pores and acne by gently extracting congestion and blackheads. Your skin will be nourished and looking youthful while feeling unbelievably soft!

HENNA

Henna is an ancient art form that is still practiced today by men and women, young and old. Henna (Mehndi) is a dye prepared from the plant Lawsonia inermis. These temporary “tattoos” are a form of body art, associated with a distinctive deep orange-red color and intricate patterns on the hands, arms, legs, feet & more resulting from the staining of the skin from the dyes. Stain lasts for about 1-2 weeks and stains darkest on the hands and feet because the skin is thicker and retains more heat.

Henna Aftercare
1. Let it dry-The paste begins to dry 15-20 minutes after application.
2. Keep it on- The paste should be left on the skin for 6-12 hours.
3. Don’t wash- Keep the paste on and avoid water for 6-12 hours.
4. Be patient- The longer the henna is applied, the darker the stain will be.
5. Stay warm- Warmth opens your pores and allows henna to soak into your skin.
6. Apply oil- After 6-12 hours use oil to crumble off the henna.

FACIAL CUPPING

Facial Cupping increases micro-circulation, rejuvenates & tones skin, lifts & defines facial contours, relaxes facial muscles, reduces puffiness, relieve tired eyes, releases tension and diminishes appearance of fine lines & wrinkles.
